Fairfield Porter: Drawings and Poetry consists of twenty line drawings accompanied by the artist's poetry. Both in his artwork and poetry, Porter was interested in exploring the world around him - his family, his friends and his environment. Whether a landscape view of Great Spruce Head Island, Maine or a portrait, Porter celebrated line, form and rhythm.
