paintings, drawings and two rare sculptures – all from the artist’s personal collection. They are the artist’s formative works and although the majority of these masterpieces were included in his 1995 traveling retrospective organized by the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and Hampton University Museum, they are now available for purchase for the first time.
John Biggers: My America will travel to the New Orleans Museum of Art, New Orleans, LA and will be on view there from January 22, 2005 – March 13, 2005.
