This exhibition of African-American masterworks is the third in an ongoing series of museum-caliber exhibitions surveying twentieth-century African-American art. This series is designed to expose the rich diversity in artistic expression from 1900 through 1970 by featuring paintings, sculpture and photographs by the most significant twentieth-century African-American artists.
